buuuut still, i’m sorry to be a ~debbie downer~ on another joke, but yeah, kind of a bad comparison? Lilo didn’t want romantic love, she didn’t have that as a main goal in life. She just wanted a nice friend, because she was friendless and bullied and “different”. and I honestly think it’s great that we get a movie where a gal is allowed to not have romance fOR THE ENTIRE COURSE OF THE MOVIE/have that not be the main (or even only, ugh) greatest thing to happen to her. and no, Merida isn’t “enough”.
